Cuba Packing List for Baby, What not to forget!
We’ve often traveled and wished we could have Totts boxes shipped to destinations where we currently don’t ship (at least for now!). Cuba was no different and with the added anxiety of not knowing if basic supplies (we’re talking water bottles here) are available in stores, planning and packing for this trip required extra effort.
So what did we learn? How to create a killer packing list for Cuba!
#4: What to pack when traveling with a toddler in Cuba
A couple of years ago there was news of a shortage of toilet paper in Cuba. Since then we’ve heard of shortages on a number of essential supplies, and the rumors are true. You walk by stores where locals line up early to get their supplies and you walk by others that don’t have any supplies left (for days). We didn’t want to leave our child’s needs up to chance so we made sure to bring the essentials especially since we weren’t staying at resorts or hotels.
So here is our list of the essentials for Cuba:
Of course don't forget clothes, sunscreen, repellant, and other things you may need while on vacation.
Remember Cuba is very kid friendly but at the same time they don’t have some things we consider basic needs for tots. Don’t expect to find car seats, high chairs and cribs. Come prepared for what you consider essential and adapt for other things. Traveling here is an adventure and bringing a tot just raises the stakes, just a tad, but also the reward!
